Today’s Prayer Focus

March 19, 2024

Please pray for FEBC’s listeners in the Buryat region of Russia, which has seen many men join the military during this war. The darkness of Animism and Buddhism is very common there. Please pray for the Gospel message to continue spreading and transforming lives in the region. The darkness is very heavy.

Please pray for the group of female listeners that is now meeting weekly to a Bible study in the Kyiv studio. These listeners were seekers when they first came to the meeting. Now, they are followers of Christ. Please pray for the reach of these meetings to continue to grow.
03/02/2024
Please pray for listeners like Khrystyna, whose brother died in the war a year ago. “I was going through a crisis. I had been to a church before, but it was full of tradition, and I didn’t really know God. But through your programs, I was introduced to churches where I could find answers to my questions. Thank you!”
03/03/2024
Please pray for Vlad, FEBC-Russia’s broadcaster, as he shares the Gospel with listeners through his programs, where he prays for them live on the air, through comments and messages, where he continues ministering to them and connects them with churches, and in person, where he meets with them and studies the Bible with them. This is an incredibly difficult time in the country, and he faces some very real threats. Please pray for God’s peace and wisdom to be with him as he navigates this difficult time.
03/04/2024
Please pray for listeners like Olya, who went to a church service with one of FEBC-Ukraine’s broadcasters. “I’m not sure what I believe. There’s so much mixed up in my head: Buddhism, Islam, science…” Since the meeting, she bought a Bible so that she could read it and wanted to meet again to talk about God. “Thank you for helping me in my journey.” Please pray for Olya to come to know the Lord as her Savior, and for the many listeners like her.
03/05/2024
Please pray for FEBC-Ukraine’s programs for children, who are experiencing extreme stress and disruption to their lives. They are in great need of support and the stable foundation found in Christ. Please pray for the children of Ukraine as they navigate these unstable and dangerous times.
03/06/2024
An FEBC-Ukraine listener named Karina was feeling helpless and exhausted. “I used to think I was strong. Now, I’m living in a new place, all alone. I’m barely scraping by. I really want to go home, but that’s where the war is. My mom is there, too, living under attack.” Karina prayed with FEBC’s follow up worker. “Thank you. I feel so much better. I think I will try going to church—I’ve never been there before.” Please pray for listeners like Karina, who are at the end of their ropes and are finding Christ through FEBC’s programs.
03/07/2024
Please pray for Alexey, FEBC-Russia’s program director, as the team faces difficult times. There is a great deal of pressure from the government, and a fear that some of the team may be drafted or even questioned by the government. Please pray for the team’s safety, for courage, and for the hand of the Lord to be with them as they share the Gospel with the people of Russia.
03/08/2024
Please pray for soldiers like Ivan, who are dealing with their trauma through addiction. “I’m going into a rehab center tomorrow. I can’t pull myself together, I just keep drinking.” This is a common difficulty soldiers face when coming back from the war. An FEBC follow up worker told Ivan about God, prayed with him, and invited him to a church. “Thank you for praying for me. Please pray that I can overcome this.” Please pray for Ivan to give his life to the Lord and to overcome his addiction.
03/09/2024
Please pray for Sonya, part of the FEBC-Ukraine team, who was living under daily shelling before coming to Kyiv and joining the team. “My parents stayed behind, and things only got worse. Gas, electricity, and water all disappeared. In the end, the connection deteriorated, and I could only find out how they were from very short phone calls…just enough to find out they were alive. Since I joined FEBC-Ukraine, I’ve found my purpose—to bring light where darkness currently reigns. Please pray for Ukrainians to see the light of Christ through FEBC’s programs.”
03/10/2024
Please pray for listeners like Sveta, from Russia, who believed her illness was a punishment from God. She met with one of FEBC-Russia’s broadcasters and he shared the Gospel with her. “When I prayed for her, she broke down crying,” said the broadcaster. “She thanked me for helping her and I gave her the address of a church near her. Please pray that she attends and comes to know the Lord.”
03/11/2024
Please pray for Seyil, from FEBC-Kyrgyzstan, who is visiting small villages in Kyrgyzstan, sharing Christ with the people there, and giving out radios so that they can listen to FEBC-Kyrgyzstan’s programs. Many of these villagers have never heard about Christ.
03/12/2024
Please pray for listeners like Dmitry, who was depressed because of everything that was going on around him—the war, his family living abroad for safety, and he was drinking a lot to deal with it. Dmitry was angry with God, and wasn’t ready to pray, but as he continued speaking with FEBC’s follow up worker, he began to open up to God. “You are touching my heart with your words…thank you so much. Please, connect me with a church, I would like to go and find out more.”
03/13/2024
Please pray for Danya, part of the FEBC-Ukraine team, who writes: “As I produce videos, it pierces me to the heart to see how much our programs are affecting people. Knowing that every day can be our last pushes me to do everything I can for Christ. If even one person in these dark times sees the light because of something I do, I consider it to be the greatest reward I could receive.” Please pray for Danya’s family’s safety, and for Danya as she continues reaching listeners through her videos.
03/14/2024
Please pray for listeners like Ira, who called FEBC-Ukraine because her husband was regularly unfaithful to her. “I can’t do this anymore,” she said. As she spoke with FEBC’s follow up worker, and heard further about Jesus, His love, and His salvation, she gave her life to Christ. Please pray that God keeps her and guides her as she navigates her difficult relationship.
03/15/2024
Please pray for FEBC-Moldova’s new follow up helpline, where listeners can write in with questions and prayer needs. Dozens of people are writing in every day with questions about God and prayer requests. People are writing in with family problems, suicidal issues, stress, addiction. The needs are great. Please pray for the students of a Christian university who were trained to work as FEBC-Moldova’s follow up workers. They are responding to many listener needs.

03/18/2024
Please pray for FEBC listeners like Artem, who writes: “I was filled with self-doubt, fears, and feelings of guilt. I was afraid of what other people thought about me. But as I listened to your program, I started to learn about the forgiveness found in the Word of God. I learned that I didn’t have to be afraid of what other people thought of me; that God loved me and sent His Son to die for me. I put my faith in Jesus because of you. Thank you so much!”

Please pray for listeners like Marta, who was experiencing stress at home, facing regular verbal abuse. “It hurts to live,” she said. As FEBC’s follow up worker prayed for her, she wept. She put her faith in Jesus as her Lord and Savior. There is only one church in her village, and the pastor said that he would try to visit her that same day to pray with her and read the Bible with her. Please pray for her as she begins her new walk with Jesus and for local believers to help her with her family situation.

“I became a radio host during the war,” writes Misha, a newer FEBC-Ukraine broadcaster. “At first, it seemed like my voice was going out into a void…until I got an email from a guy who listened to my programs. He’s now on the frontlines of the war. But I can see now how God can use a voice to share his hope in the midst of darkness.” Please pray for Misha as he reaches thousands of listeners with the Good News. He has a heart for listeners, and many write in to his programs to talk further with him.

Many of these women are refugees, alone, separated from their families, and going through difficult times. “These women often times feel abandoned, and they need to know that they are loved. Several of them are now in church, having given their lives to Christ.” Please pray for Nadia as she ministers to these women and the many listeners who are calling FEBC-Ukraine with serious questions and issues.
03/26/2024
Please pray for listeners like Nastya, who writes: “I was baptized when I was a child, but I had no real faith in Christ.
