“It is exciting to see how God uses the exploration of His Word to mend hearts, heal relationships, and save souls.”
– Dr. Victor P. Akhterov, Director, FECB Russian Ministries
Russia is considered to be a culturally Christian country. This means that the vast majority of the population has a favorable opinion of the Bible. It also means that more than 90% of the people are only vaguely familiar with the Book.
That’s why we do all we can to help people understand the main message of the Bible. Every day we broadcast two different programs that explain the Bible chapter by chapter.
Kirill wrote to us from Tver, saying, “I became a Christian by listening to your programs that explain the Bible verse by verse. I used to visit the Orthodox church from time to time, but that did not help me understand the Bible. I only felt reverence towards it. But by listening to your Bible study program, I became a new man. After I gave my life to Jesus, everything changed. My thinking, my attitudes, and my relationships were…rehabilitated.” We receive multiple testimonies like this one, where the Word of God, simply and understandably presented, does its work in people’s lives.
In addition to these two blocks of programming, we invite local pastors to talk to people about the Bible. Those are interactive talk shows, where people can ask questions and receive answers right away.
My friend and FEBC volunteer for over 15 years, Pastor Vasily, shared about his approach. “It is a privilege to speak on behalf of all those people who support FEBC. I know that they expect me to share the pure, unadulterated Word with our listeners. Moreover, I feel a responsibility before God. That’s why the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit is essential.”
It is the Holy Spirit who makes the Bible speak to individual hearts. That’s why we covet your prayers for millions of our listeners.
OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE
We need an additional $3,500 every month to prepare and broadcast Bible study programs network-wide.

Please pray that God’s Word would change the hearts of millions here in Russia. We know that His word is never void, and we pray that millions will hear and respond.” – Rev. Alexey Vlasikhin, FEBC-St. Petersburg
