
Rev. Rudi Wiens
Executive Director
Rev. Rudi Wiens oversees FEBC’s ministry in several key Russian and Ukrainian cities, including Moscow and St. Petersburg, where FEBC operates powerful AM stations that affect millions for Christ.
Rudi Wiens has been with FEBC since 1982. Some highlights of his ministry include the four years he spent doing “live” broadcast from KFBS-Saipan during the crucial years of perestroika in Russia (1986-1990). “Using radio for Christ can yield powerful results, and that’s exactly what’s happening within FEBC-Russia today,” says Wiens.
Rev. Wiens has a master’s degree in intercultural studies from Biola University. Rudi and his wife Anni have four daughters.
Victor Akhterov
General Program Director
Victor Akhterov is responsible for developing and implementing the programming strategy for FEBC’s stations throughout Russia.
Victor has been with FEBC since 1988. “My main purpose is to make our radio broadcasts relevant to non-believers, so we can bring them into Christ-centered churches,” says Akhterov, who received his education at Biola University and Fuller Theological Seminary. He works closely with more than 30 of FEBC-Russia’s broadcasters to reach FEBC’s goal for Russia. Victor and his wife Oksana have two sons.
Oleg Cherny
Chief Engineer
Oleg Cherny is responsible for all the engineering issues of FEBC-Russia. Oleg lives in Moscow and travels to different FEBC centers throughout Russia as needed. “My goal is to make our recording and broadcasting studios both efficient and professional,” says Cherny. He is also responsible for implementing new technologies, organizing special broadcasts, developing and overseeing Internet-casting, and training FEBC’s sound engineers.
Oleg and his wife Natalia have one child.
Evgeny Sarapulov
Popular Broadcaster
Evgeny Sarapulov is based in Moscow, where he hosts a popular daily radio program. Evgeny is a psychologist who also has an advanced degree in philosophy. His practical, down-to-earth programs help many listeners find their way to Christ. “As Christians, we are victorious in God, and I want to help others become victors with Christ.”
Evgeny and his wife Svetlana have four children.
Dennis Kozlov
Programmer
Dennis Kozlov is based in St. Petersburg. He hosts number of different programs, reaching thousands of his listeners for Jesus Christ. “We are all students in this school we call life. My goal is not only to learn from Christ, but help others do the same.”
Dennis received a degree in theology from Fuller Theological seminary, Russian division, and continues his studies in philosophy. He and his wife Marina are raising two daughters.
Alexey Vlasihin
Manager of Radio TEOS
Alexey Vlasihin – St.Petersburg. “To believe in the Gospel for me – means to live in the world where there is God who loves us. I want it very much for our programs would be doors for many to this wonderful world”. Alexey became a Christian when he was 16. Since then his life is closely related to church ministry: preaching, Bible study groups, youth ministry.
In 1999 Alexey graduated from Nizhny Novgorod State University where he studied political science. Then he received master’s degree in historical theology from St.-Petersburg Evangelical Theological Academy, where he then stayed as a teacher of theology and church history. Alexey is a minister of an independent evangelical church. “I am aware of my responsibility to reach hearts of my contemporaries with the Gospel which was willed to us by Apostles, passed to us by many generations of Christians and changed my own life”.
Alexey is married. His wife Natalia is a psychotherapist and family counselor, she often takes part in “Radio TEOS” programs. They bring up their son Vsevolod.
